Senior Outdoor Reflection Trips (SORT) are designed for graduating seniors as an opportunity to reflect on their Harvard experience and their transition into life after college. Participants will spend 2 nights and 3 days, backpacking through the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts. These trips are led by 2-3 experienced outdoor leaders. This experience is about more than just reaching the next campsite- it's an opportunity for personal growth, meaningful reflection, and a deeper connection to nature, your classmates and yourself.

SORT Logistics

SORT occurs during the beginning of senior week, and spends 2 nights and 3 days in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts. Specific logistics for SORT 2026 will come soon.

SORT Cost & Financial Aid

Participants will pay $120 to attend these trips. As with our standard FOP programming, FOP will match the financial aid given by the college. So students on 50% aid would pay $60, and students on full aid would attend free of charge.

Lead SORT

Current graduating Seniors who are a FOP/HOC Leader, and interested in leading SORT, can apply to lead this fall. More information coming soon. SORT is FREE for Leaders!
