Florian Abruzzi

Hello people! My name is Florian (all pronouns) and I am a sophomore from Belmont, Massachusetts! Growing up in New England, I spent my summers on conservations hiking and catching critters, which inspired me to learn everything I could about plants and animals. I developed a love for nature and the outdoors that became central to my life! However, I didn’t truly understand what it could bring to my development as a person and to my relationships with others until my FOP trip (yessss 41) where I felt the depths to the strength of the friendships I could form and learned from my FOP leaders the extent of the positive impacts I could make on other people as a mentor. My trip inspired me to take up the role as FOP leader myself and although I will never live up to my loves Julia Mansfield or Theo Tobel 🫶🫶, I am so excited to steer this year and put everything I can into this program!
