I am a sophomore living in Mather House. On campus, I am involved in sexual education work through being a Consent Advocate and Relationship Educator, I facilitate an after-school program in a neighborhood in Boston every afternoon, and I write for the Crimson. I study a joint concentration between the Studies of Women, Gender and Sexuality and African and African American Studies.
Though his hometown, New Rochelle, NY, may be just outside New York City, Caleb can often be found wandering the wilderness of New England with FOP and his summer camp. While at school, Caleb is interesting in Government and Economics, and he also spends time with the Institute of Politics, writes for The Crimson and watches Netflix.
I’m Lucy, and I’m a junior in Dunster. At Harvard, I tutor middle school students through Cambridge After-School, which is one of my favorite parts of my week, and I consistently spend way too much time talking with my friends over meals. I’m (proudly) from just outside of Boston, but I love exploring new cities and the outdoors! I’m content with the simple things in life: riverside sunsets, golden retrievers, and strong cups of coffee.
Jack Deschler was raised on a steady diet of harsh New England winters and Dunkin Donuts iced coffee. Jack has made the best of the Quad by taking classes only in buildings North of the Yard. A New Englander to the bone, Jack won’t label anything less than 5 inches a snowstorm. Most of the time, you can find Jack tossing Frisbees and climbing walls.
Marcy Park likes tacos and sushi.
Raised in the Floridian paradise of Naples, Liz thrives on nature and adventure, especially anything related to the beach, kayaking, running, or general sunshine. Her goal is to spread good vibes and to build relationships with good people because everyone is extraordinary if only you take the time to get to know them, and what better way to do that than in the backcountry? Life is good! Make it an adventure!
Max Vumbaca was born on June 8, 1994 in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, the town where the Boston Marathon starts, and has faithfully not run that marathon every year since. He enjoys philosophy, mountains, ultimate frisbee, board games, Panthalassa the one true ocean, and mountains again, mountains Gandalf!
Will was reared in the scraggly undergrowth of suburban Massachusetts, among wild dandelions and the occasional backyard turkey. Here at Harvard, Will has renounced his cul-de-sac roots by escaping to the New Hampshire mountains whenever he can as a leader for the Harvard Outing Club. Otherwise, you can find him studying Molecular and Cellular Biology (not pre-med, he promises), and spending an inordinate amount of time directing an afterschool program for kids in Boston.
HELLO!!! My name's Minnie and I'm a junior living in Currier (#quadlyfe)! I study History & Literature, Global Health & Health Policy, and dabble in some pre-med stuff on the side. Before coming to college, I could count the number of times I had been hiking on one hand... Now I lead FOP trips. YAY for trying new things!!!
I was born in Washington DC but raised in Switzerland, Nepal, Thailand, and Italy. Catch me on my caffeine-fuelled route between Lamcaf and Quincy dhall, and let's talk about capitalism, horror movies, and cyberwar.
What happened when the cheese factory exploded? There was de-brie everywhere! What cheese do you use to hide a horse? Mascarpone I love cheese jokes almost as much as I love eating cheese on FOP.
Anna is a sophomore from Lakeland, Florida living in Quincy House. On campus, she is a part of multiple dance groups and works as a mentor at the Harvard Ed Portal. She loves to read, run, cook, and eat copious amounts of cheese and ice cream!
I’m a sophomore in Cabot studying computer science! On campus, I’m a handler on the women’s ultimate frisbee team, Cabot Third Space’s ceramics coordinator, a PAF in Canaday, and one of the vice presidents of the Chinese Students Association. I love whales, cats, and chasing down dog walkers to pet their dogs. Fun fact: the first FOP trip that I led was by coincidence the same one I went on as a freshman! ~FOP magic~

Quinn is a junior in Currier House studying sociology. He was born and raised in Atlanta and is a diehard Braves, Hawks, and Falcons fan so please don’t talk about the Super Bowl ever. He became a FOP leader his sophomore year, and has loved every minute of it!!! Other things he loves are mac and cheese, procrastinating, and Kanye West.
Bryan is a senior in Dunster House studying bioengineering. He didn't go on FOP his freshman year, and during much of his time at Harvard, really yearned for adventure-based experiences that promote the development of social support and self-awareness. So he became a FOP leader! And it was magic. Aside from being outdoors, Bryan enjoys swimming, volunteering as an EMT, wearing flannel, and putting cilantro on his Chipotle burrito.

Zack hails from Canada, where the harsh winters have given him a considerable familiarity with surviving in the great outdoors. At Harvard, he studies Computer Science, leads with the Outing Club and teaches intro classes. He's particularly fond of musicals, hiking and red spice chicken, but his one true love is leading freshmen on adventurous and reflective FOP trips.
I’m Tom, and I am a freshman living in Stoughton who is looking forward to living in Mather House next year! On campus, I am concentrating in Applied Math and I am a member of the Lightweight Rowing Team. My hobbies include breadmaking, photography and cycling and some of my favorite things are The Office, maps, and seltzer water. A fun fact about me is that I eat peanuts whole, shell and all.
